Antagonista – Creator/Destroyer

Antagonista is a multi-year artistic project by Aino Venna, supported by the Kone Foundation. Through original music, experimental animation and writing, the work explores creation and destruction as intertwined forces — moving between chaos, memory, and symbolic transformation.

At its core is a desire to shift perception: away from linear logic and toward embodied presence, cyclical time, and the unspoken knowledge held in the body and the land.

Rooted in animistic and mythic thinking, Antagonista combines archaic practices — such as drum journeys and ritual sound — with generative technology and spatial sound design. Rather than offering resolution, it opens a field of resonance, where silenced and hidden forces may begin to speak.
